20's Plenty for Epping Forest

History

.

The roads of Epping Forest are known for speeding, not just through the forest itself, but also through residential roads where people feel most safe and thus liable to have an accident. Buckhurst Hill resident Steven Neville had been concerned about this and had written letters to Essex County Council who are responsible for speed limits. He had heard of 20 is Plenty and having read their national website saw the need for this in the towns and villages in Epping Forest. He contacted them in April 2011, and officially launched the campaign in July 2011.
